Sweet Temptations: The babysitter by L.M. Mountford is an erotic book that is sure to delight! What I really loved about this book was that it was the perfect length to be a teaser. This story captivated me so that I want to read what happens next!

The story details a middle-aged man, Richard Martin, who is happy: he has a wife, a young child, a steady job. When some details are brought to Richard’s attention, he realizes that the young woman who babysits his son has a crush on him, and that his wife finds this bemusing. Everyone has flaws as this book reminds us, and many of us make mistakes or dive into situations when our bodies seem to override our brains.

The reader gets a detailed, albeit brief, insight into Richard’s life at this point in the story. Things are chugging along as they always do, but now his immediate boss is taking an interest in testing his limits at work. We have to keep reading the later installments to find out what happens next, but when he helps the babysitter fix her computer, some sparks fly.

I really enjoyed the development of the characters in this short story. I appreciated the excellent writing, and the unique style of storytelling the author has. I think some statements said in the character’s ecstasy, such as “you’re so tight” tends to rub me the wrong way as a sex educator, since it isn’t physiologically accurate. Nevertheless, many readers are likely to relate to such an expression as a statement of pleasure/ dirty talk.

In short, thanks to the author for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review! Check out the links below for Sweet Temptations: The babysitter. xoxo
