One important point to note to folks is that erotica is a separate genre from romance. It is often more explicit, reveling in the sexual details whereas romance often skirts it. And I’ll admit it: I do love me some sex scenes, especially when they are written well.
Another reason to check out erotic literature is that these tales aren’t just about the nitty gritty; these stories tell intimate stories about people during their private (or public, you lovely, naughty readers) times. I highly recommend this genre because it is enjoyable and educational. And who knows, maybe erotica will inspire you as it does me.
