The Picobong Kiki Clitoris Vibe is a fancier, cuter bullet vibe. It is slightly larger than a bullet and it has a flat head that sits on top of the clitoris. The quality and shape of the Kiki is nicer than other clitoral vibes. I had a dumb moment when I read the instructions. At first, I had no idea how to turn the Kiki vibe on. The directions stated:
“Hold down + to activate your Picobong. Continue pressing + to increase vibration intensity.”
It took me a minute to realize the + was the very same + that’s inside the “b” of “Picobong.” (You can see this in the photo on the right.) *Doh*
The Picobong Kiki requires 1 AAA battery. It is quiet, paraben-free and waterproof. Made of silicone. 3.5 inches long and 1.33 inches wide. If you turn it to the maximum vibration it will dance on your desk. A very thorough assessment, I know. You’re welcome.
In the picture you can see it got loose in its box on the journey to me. It had some discoloration from the black packaging, and because the Kiki is light blue it took some scrubbing to remove it. Speaking of scrubbing, this can be washed with warm, soapy water or toy cleaner. Water-based lubricants are best to use as well because it is silicone.
The Kiki vibe is small. If you like having a little vibrator to tease with, this is an ideal toy. This provides a nice vibration to encourage arousal, such as by rubbing it over your clitoris or teasing the entrance to your vagina with it. (I dared not let it go in my vagina, for fear of losing it. Kidding! But it is small.) This toy does not have a strong vibration, which is to be expected since it takes one AAA battery. It provides a gentle buzz, which is cute but is not enough to orgasm. I don’t get off from using a clitoral vibe alone anyways.
That all being said, I like the 12 modes, or vibration patterns, this toy has. The only markedly unique aspect of this toy is that is have variation of modes. When I first used it I kept losing my feel for where the + sign was (to change the setting), so I would have to lift it up, look at it, locate and press the button, then place it back where it was. This isn’t so sexy and effortless because you have to press and hold the + for 2 seconds to change modes. This break in sexiness can really delay the process.
How might the
Kiki hold up in comparison to other products? The
Je Joue MiMi has better button placement, stronger vibrations and is rechargeable. The Kiki is notably more affordable, but you can see why, as the specs are lower. The Kiki has a flat, angled head, whereas the MiMi has a flattened egg shape.
