The hard plastic bullet is curved to fit the contour of a woman and although it could be smaller and lighter, it sits in the brief rather comfortably. The bullet takes two AAA batteries and the remote requires a 23AE 12V battery (the remote battery is included). I was surprised by the lack of packaging. This product arrived in a clear, plastic bag. That was it. No name, no product label, just the bare bits in a bag with a small sheet of instructions. Bummer (pun intended, kind of).
There are 10 different settings of various pulsations and vibrations. The main thing I don’t like about it is the remote can only flick through the different modes by clicking one button, which means that there is no direct control over intensifying the sensations or increasing the frequencies of pulsations. If I am being teased, especially by someone else, I would like the modes to start off light and gentle, and then progress to strong, fast modes. But, instead you have to click through randomly.
The vibrations from the bullet are very arousing, although sometimes they can be too intense for me. If I am receiving vibrations or pulsations on my clitoral area, even indirectly (i.e. from outside my lips), I like being able to take away the toy when it becomes too much, but with this I would have to turn the bullet off (or dig into my panty and take the bullet out). I can see this vibrating brief becoming irritating quickly because of the constant, direct sensation I would experience. I would not orgasm from only wearing this brief. It would purely be a teaser, which is also why I would really like having a smarter remote with control over the levels of gradual, increased intensity or pulsation.
The remote works up to 20 feet away and is small and discrete. I tested the remote by placing the bullet under my pillow at the far end of the room, and then operated the remote from about 15 feet away. It worked, and I can’t imagine the remote controller (my boyfriend) would be much further away. Thus I was content with the remote’s ability regarding the distance. I will test the distance again this week with said boyfriend, and if the results are interesting, I will update this review.
The bullet is not very quiet. There are about three settings that are very slightly quieter than others, BUT to get to them you have to click past the louder ones as the order is seemingly random. I would not be comfortable wearing this (with the vibe on) in a very quiet public venue, although perhaps it would make the experience more erotic, with a higher risk of others discovering it. (Admittedly, I have a slight exhibitionist, kinky side.)
Good Vibes has three different vibrating panties that can be viewed here. Thanks Good Vibes! xoxo
