This toy can be used during solo masturbation, or one person can use it on another. I liked using it with other toys simultaneously. This toy is not ideal for anal play because of its shape.

The material is silicone and the surface has a semi-matte finish. I would not say the dildo’s texture creates any drag. It has a smooth feel to it, and is solid, non-porous, and unyielding. The texture feels nice except when it gets wet, as it is difficult to grasp firmly for rougher penetration.

The Ella, with its 7 inches in length (5 inches insertable) and 1.25 inches in width, did not live up to my expectations. While this dildo was a bit on the small side for me, that does not mean that it might not be ideal for you. I tend to get very, naturally lubricated when I am aroused, and so with the Ella being a bit smaller and smoother than expected, it did not succeed in such an environment. I wanted to use the toy to stimulate my G-spot specifically, by inserting the curved tip vaginally first, but the wetness caused the smooth shaft-of-a-handle to become far too slippery. While I had less issues being able to firmly grasp the head and insert it vaginally in the opposite direction, this did not maximize any G-spot stimulation, which was the main reason I bought this dildo.

While the toy has a pretty ideal shape, I would love it if was overall bigger: in length and girth. The size limits my ability to maximize the Ella’s design and performance. I did have awesome success combining the Ella with the We-Vibe II because the We-Vibe limited the accessible space in which the Ella could be inserted. Since I felt fuller, I could use the Ella by holding the head, and it still felt great even though I was using the Ella in the direction that was least satisfactory.  For the same reasons, the Ella works great in double penetration play as well–with a butt plug inserted anally, for example.

This dildo can be cleaned with soap and warm water or a 10% bleach solution, and it is boilable and dishwasher safe. Since it is made of silicone, it can be used with lubricants that are not silicone-based. The Ella comes with a gift/storage box, a display shelf and a satin bag. These aid in easy, varied, safe storage for this dildo. Do not store the Ella so that it touches other products, because materials from different products can interact negatively, causing each other to become distorted.

Body-safe material, easy and safe storage, name brand, aesthetically pleasing

Cons:
Limited usage by itself for G-spot stimulation
